What does it mean to be a part of the church? At our church, we use these Four Gs to outline the four things every believer should do in the local church.
- Gospel Conversations – Followers of Jesus are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the lost and searching—trusting the Holy Spirit with the results.
- Gather – Believers are commanded to gather as a church body regularly to sing, pray, and listen to the Bible preached.
- Groups – God made us for community. We meet in groups on Sundays or during the week to pray with other believers, talk about what God is teaching us, and grow in our knowledge of Him. We aren’t alone; we grow together!
- Going – We are all called to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
Use this tool with your kids around the dinner table or before bed to talk about the Four Gs!
