Meet Our New Ministry Residents
Join us in welcoming our newest class of ministry residents: Braden Denman (Preschool & Children, Bentwood Baptist), Brennan Heard (Students, The Church at Avenue South), Isaac Reid (Worship, Brentwood Baptist), and Xaviere Jones (Pastoral, Harpeth Heights). Over the next two years, they’ll grow as leaders while serving alongside our staff and church family.
Churchwide Summit
Join us on Sunday, September 13, from 5:00–6:15 p.m. in the Brentwood Baptist Worship Center for our annual Churchwide Summit. We’ll gather to celebrate what God has done across our church family and look ahead to where He is leading us next. Hear from church leaders about the vision for the year ahead, then stay afterward for coffee and desserts in the Atrium; childcare check-in begins at 4:45 p.m.
Next Gen Programming on Sunday, September 6
Next Gen programming is available today for babies up to age 3 during all three services. Kids and Student groups will resume after Labor Day weekend.
More Than Enough | A Study of 2 Corinthians
Have you ever felt like you simply don’t have what it takes to endure life’s hardest stretches? In this study of 2 Corinthians, author Christine Hoover walks us through one of Paul’s most personal letters to discover how God Himself is the source of the strength and sufficiency we need, meeting Wednesdays, September 9 through November 4, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Childcare is not available.
Men’s Bible Study
Join us on Thursday evenings this fall, beginning Thursday, September 10, from 7:00–8:30 p.m., for Men’s Bible Study. Together, we’ll look at how God used imperfect people to change the world, and you’ll have space to grow in God’s Word and build community with other men.
1st Grade Bible Presentation
We’re excited to celebrate a meaningful milestone with our 1st Graders as they receive a Bible from their Nolensville church family—a gift to guide them as they grow in faith and discover God’s Word. On Sunday, September 13, we’ll pray over these precious kiddos and encourage them as they begin their journey with Scripture. Register by September 6 to let us know you plan to participate and which service you will attend.
Discover Us & Discover You
Join us for Discover Us and Discover You on Sundays, September 20 and September 27, from 10:45–11:45 a.m., and take a next step in becoming part of the Church at Nolensville. Over these two weeks, you’ll learn who we are, what we believe, and how you can get connected while discovering your spiritual gifts and how God has uniquely designed you to serve.
Just a Clay Pot: A Bi-Vocational Residency Story
“Lord, I am just a clay pot; use me however you want.” That’s the posture Damon Aldergren has carried through his ministry, where it was never about a title or a paycheck, but about letting God work through him wherever he was needed. Through Brentwood Baptist’s Leadership Bi-Vocational Residency, he served in student ministry at both Nolensville and West End, growing in his walk with God as he learned to serve the church he loves.
Standing With Nepal
Families in Nepal and along the Chinese border are grieving the aftermath of devastating flash floods that have already claimed hundreds of lives, with hundreds more still missing. Brentwood Baptist has already sent $25,000 in emergency relief through our partners at Transformation Nepal, and we’re inviting our church family to join us in prayer and giving as the need continues. September Prayer for the Persecuted Church | Libya
This month, we’re praying for the persecuted church in Libya, where extreme instability and violence place believers—especially converts and migrant Christians—at constant risk. Pray for protection, safe fellowship, and for God to bring hope, justice, and saving grace to a nation longing for peace.
