“For the Son of Man came to seek out and save the lost. (Luke 19:10).” Jesus’ love for us drove him to the cross. I his dying, he would save the human race from self-destruction, self-worship and sin; so that in his resurrection we would be saved from death. These words from Jesus point us toward his mission in the world – to seek out and save those who are lost.
