Nashville Winter Ice Storm

The Nashville winter ice storm has passed, but Middle Tennessee is still feeling its impact. This historic weather event has affected our community in significant ways, and we know recovery will take time. As many continue to navigate disruptions and needs, we want to make sure you’re aware of how you can respond and where you can find or offer help.
- Pray for those most deeply affected by the storm, as well as for the many individuals serving in emergency and recovery roles across our city.
- Be a good neighbor. Check on those around you—especially neighbors who may be alone, vulnerable, or under-resourced. Many needs go unseen unless we take the initiative to look.
- Join CarePortal if you haven’t already. Text CARE to 623623 to sign up and respond to real, tangible needs as they are posted.
- Disaster Response Support: For those experiencing damage to their homes, our Disaster Response Team is actively available, alongside support from the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board (TBMB). If you’re interested in serving with this team, click here to be added to their team list.

- If you’re part of a LIFE Group, we encourage you to share your needs there as well. We’ve already seen groups come together to move fallen limbs, shovel driveways, and deliver food—simple acts making a real difference.
